With “Deepereffect,” Scottland based Atosi makes his debut on Ocultismo. The EP explores deeper and more atmospheric moods, built on steady basslines, evolving synth layers, and detailed percussion. Each track unfolds slowly, focusing less on quick impact and more on building a hypnotic flow. Subtle melodies appear and fade over rolling grooves, creating a sound that works both for close listening and the dancefloor.

Welcome to Ocultismo Cuts — where the music speaks once, and speaks loud.
We open the year with the first chapter of our new series, “Ocultismo Cuts.” A space devoted to the art of the single release - each track standing alone, yet carrying its own world, its own spell. The series opens with label boss Shiffer, whose track echoes the spirit and pulse of his hometown, Basel. Basel - known for its iconic Fasnacht and the famous Basel drumming tradition, which is even recognized as UNESCO Cultural Heritage - plays a central role in this track. It offers a glimpse into Basel’s rich traditions and the roots of Ocultismo founder, Shiffer. The track has also received support on Trikk’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and has been featured in sets by numerous other artists.
As you know, at Ocultismo we take a different approach than other labels. We are driven by a thirst for the new and are constantly seeking it. In our quest, we encountered an as yet undiscovered musician from Basel, and we are proud to unveil his very first EP With his soulful and profound EP Telepathy Tapes, EZRA has created something timeless and wondrous — a work that fits seamlessly into our roster and resonates deeply with our identity. We are very excited to present this EP to you, completed with a remix by label boss Shiffer.

Avem’s 2009 EP, released on Ocultismo, is a hypnotic dive into minimalistic grooves and lo-fi nostalgia. True to its title, the release conjures the sonic aesthetics of the late 2000s microhouse and minimal techno era—filtered through a contemporary, introspective lens. Ocultismo, known for championing raw, unconventional sounds on the fringes of house and techno, provides the perfect home for this release. 2009 isn’t about dancefloor domination—it’s about evocation, reflection, and the fragile beauty of imperfection. With this EP, Basel-based Avem delves into hazy minimalism and nostalgic textures, reaffirming his place in the electronic scene with a sound that’s both introspective and rhythmically entrancing.

Our longtime friend and fellow swiss producer Night Talkis set to release his new EP, "A Thousand Tears", on Ocultismo. With this EP", Night Talk presents a selection of tracks that combine melancholic soundscapesand rhythmic patterns, making it suitable for both club settings and personal listening experiences. As anticipation builds for "A Thousand Tears", fans of deep, emotive electronic music can look forward to another immersive experience from Night Talk—one that continues to refine and expand his unique musical vision. In addition, label boss Shiffer has contributed a remix, adding a touch of extra tempo to give the EP its final polish.

Groningen-based producer Convolute is preparing to release his debut EP "Everyday in My Life" on OCULTISMO, and it’s one we’re really excited about. Convolute uses a unique approach to sound design, creating a mix of experimental beats, textures, and rhythms that explore different aspects of electronic music, making it a perfect fit for introspective listeners.
Giegling’s finest Map.ache has lent his signature touch to Convolute's track "Psychotherapy", crafting a remix that brings a fresh perspective to the original. Known for his emotive productions, Map.ache transforms the track into a mesmerizing journey, layering lush melodies, subtle percussion, and a hypnotic groove.
It’s a privilege to have both Convolute and Map.ache on this release.

The first EP on the label newly founded by Patrik Schifferle aka. Shiffer comes from him and the German songwriter Paul Brenning. The work on these collaborations spanned over two years and perfectly demonstrates what the new label stands for, namely togetherness and creativity. Starting with the drum loops and chords by Shiffer, and continuing with the beautiful lyrics by Paul, the tracks were written by the two of them together over a period of months. The result is the "Stranded EP", a melancholic and warm mini-LP with cinematic vocals and deep grooves. The record is rounded off with a timeless remix from Mano Le Tough.
